Leslee and I were married on May 4, 2002. For as long as we've known each other, we've dreamed of an adventure together. After a couple of years of saving, many nights of planning, and more than a little worrying, we developed "The Plan."

In late 2003, we left our technology jobs in Seattle and bought a 1968 Airstream Overlander with plans to renovate it and see North America for one year. We finished the trailer in late June 2004 and began our new adventure on July 4th.

With the constant help of our familes -- particularly our diligent Dads -- and many, many friends, we've begun our new life on the road! With the new life has come new challenges, adventures, and friends.

Above all, we've learned--as John Steinbeck said--"It's not you that takes the trip, but the trip that takes you."
