Leslee and I took a little "vacation from our vacation" to join our friends Joey and Suzanne on a road trip. In March, 2004, we drove the entire Baja Peninsula from Tijuana to Cabo San Lucas and back again. It was the trip of a lifetime...or at least until September when we plan to do it again!

After a night drive through Tijuana, we awoke here -- Playa Saldamando-- just north of Ensenada. In Cataviña, we camped next to the gigantic cardón cacti. They grow 60 feet tall. Leslee with her old friend, my new friend, and our traveling companion, Suzanne. In Bahía Concepción, we snorkeled and camped on a white sand beach. For a welcome break from camping, we stayed in our friends Mitch and Leslie's beautiful home in Loreto.   Our campsite in the wild near Aqua Verde.
