Throughout the end of 2003 and the spring of 2004,
we've been working on renovating our new home, a 1968 Airstream Overlander.
Little by little, it's starting to come together. These photos are roughly
in chronological order. Needless to say, they're "before" pictures.
We look forward to showing you the "after" soon!

A very dusty Airstream on the road to its first bath
in a long time in Monroe, WA.

Scrubbing up the tail lights. |

We had the good fortune to get a space
to work at our friends Kevin and Deja. This was the day that
we received our new futon furniture from Soaring Heart
in Seattle.

The original logo before Leslee
repainted it.

 |

My Dad and I working on the new bed frame
and tanks in the rear. He's been an incredible supporter
of our adventure since the beginning. |
| |

This is the framing for the kitchen
right. We modified and reused all the original framing and replaced
all the original bulkheads. |
| |

Monster Trailer Garage! After we
moved the trailer to California, this is my father-in-law Glenn
fixing our bumper. He's been a huge new help. |
| |

Shining the Trailer is a big job.
Here's the start of the very back. It takes two rounds of polish
and takes more than 100 hours. |

|
The first scrub before we began
the real work. At this point, we'd gutted and painted the
interior with Zolatone.
|
 |
Leslee sanding our overhead cabinets
with the pseudo-random orbital sander. She stripped all the
furniture and refinished it.
|
 |

This is the kitchen on the left. We
just mocked it up so we could see it develop. |

Leslee cleaning our folding canopy.
The original is still elegant and intacted. |

Leslee's Reflection in the door during
her big polishing job. |

The New Curtains that Leslee sewed.
You might be wondering what work that Jude is doing on this
project! |
